         <description><![CDATA[SPOKANE — Sophomores Christina   Grizzel-Hardie and Amber Williams each won an event, and freshman Sam   Berryman continued to be a scoring machine for the Lane women after the   first day of the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges   track and field meet on Monday.

         <description><![CDATA[Coos Bay, OR -- Lane CC walked away for the Southern Region Track    &amp; Field Championship with a great deal of hardware Saturday at SW    Oregon CC.
Lane's women, with 274 points, cruised past the competition, winning    by 93 points over second place Clackamas.
Clackamas' Jennifer Roberts was the women's high point scorer with 35  1/2 points.
The men's competition was a bit closer with Lane winning by 19.5    points over Clackamas who registered 191 points in the day's events.

         <description><![CDATA[OREGON CITY — Christina Grizzel-Hardie won   four events to lead the Lane Community College women to a win at the   Clackamas Three-Way track and field meet Saturday afternoon.
Grizzel-Hardie won the hammer with a   personal-best throw of 135 feet, 9 inches. She also won the javelin   (139-2), discus (126-0) and shot put (39-5) to help the Titans score   177 1/2 points.
Clackamas was third with 111 and Clark   College was third at 64 1/2.

         <title><![CDATA[Fegles, Williams win pole vault]]></title>

         <description><![CDATA[PORTLAND — Lane Community College’s  Robby Fegles won the pole vault with a mark of 16 feet, 4 3/4 inches to  lead the Titan men to a second-place finish at the Lewis &amp; Clark  Invitational track and field meet on Saturday.
Jordan Parker finished third at  15-11, as the Titans finished with 118 points. Concordia won the meet  with 214.
Lane runner Chris Stubbs, competing  unattached, won the 400 in 47.21 seconds and was second in the 200 in  21.00.

         <title><![CDATA[LCC wins at relays]]></title>

         <description><![CDATA[OREGON CITY — Lane Community  College swept the distance medleys and won both the men’s and women’s  team titles at the Northwest Relays at Oregon City High School on Friday  night.
The Lane women won the meet with  141 points and got victories in the 100 hurdles (16.27 seconds) and high  jump (4-11 3/4) from Samantha Poppe.
The men won with 109 points. Cesar  Perez (9:03.77) and Sterling Teall (9:20.13) went 1-2 in the 3,000  meters.

         <description><![CDATA[SALEM — Four members of the Lane Community  College women’s track and field team picked up wins in the final day of  competition at the Willamette Invitational on Saturday.
Amber Williams won the pole vault with a  clearance of 10 feet, 8 inches; Sam Berryman won the long jump with a  mark of 17-8; Kim Wilson won the triple jump with a mark of 37-10 3/4;  and Christina Hardie won the discus with a throw of 125-7 and was also  third in the shot put at 38-2 1/4.

         <description><![CDATA[SALEM — Lane Community College’s Christina  Hardie placed second in the hammer throw and teammate Jennifer Guzman  was fourth at the Willamette Invitational track and field meet on  Friday.
Hardie threw 125 feet, 7 inches for second,  and Guzman went 117-10. Two other Titans, Kallie Nowak and Erikka Bly,  were sixth and seventh, respectively.]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[GRESHAM Dusty Jarvis won the men's 100-meter dash and MaCayla  Claver won the women's 5,000 to highlight the Lane track and field team's season-opening meet at Mount Hood in a non-scoring  event.       

Jarvis, a freshman from Springfield, won in 11.06 seconds. Claver,  a Willamette High product, won in 19:10.10.
